Good and thick very warm gloves

Bought these for my 8 year old girls. I wasn't sure if I should go down a size, but I took a chance and went up a size and it's fine. They're a bit big, I have to drop my fingers a bit, but that's to be expected with gloves as they're not a specific size. My girls love them and I think they will work great in the snow next week! My girls are average height.
