Why only 4 stars? .because the way they attached the loop (where you can insert the extra length of the strap) was wired by the manufacturer. The color is a nice shade of caramel that looks like a patina on regular vacetta leather. The maximum length of this strap fits my height of 5ft 2" (using the last adjustment hole. It is on the middle of my hips and waist). Faux leather does not have a strong odor. Also, this strap is fairly light, which is a plus for me as my classic Louis Vuitton Trousse 28 (converted into a shoulder bag) is a bit heavy due to the thick monogrammed canvas.
