Review on Men's Dakine Titan Gore-Tex Snow Gloves - Must-Have Accessories for Winter by James Weber

Good fit and mobility, but not the best in freezing temperatures

I bought this product to work in a freezer at 5 degrees Fahrenheit, not counting the wind from the fans. I have to take a break every 35 minutes if I work a lot, or 25 minutes if I don't move much. The pads that come with these gloves are very good, but they are too tight when I wear them together. I use transfer liners and freezer gloves. There's a pocket for hand warmers on the back, which I'm sure would be nice. My employer had the same gloves when I started my job. They were mostly new but after about 3 months of handling the ice cream and bacon the stitching on the fingers started to unravel. I just bought the same ones again because they were decent enough. With the right glove, I had problems with the plastic fastener that allows the forearm elastic to be tightened. Sometimes it doesn't tighten, but if I push the button hard enough, it regains its ability to grab the elastic within a few days. I don't have this problem with my left glove. These gloves aren't bad for working in the freezer, but they're probably better for snowboarding :D I'll try a pair of Ninjas next time. Generally good gloves, thank you.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Good, but not the best
