Product does what it promises. It's an affordable alternative to HP (manufacturer) toner, which can cost over $280 for regular (206A) and over $375 for high-end options (206X). Yes, it's not your plug-in and play, and replacing cartridges requires some work (transferring a chip from your original HP to this one). It took me about 3-5 minutes to replace the cartridge. The first one took a little longer as I had to read the instructions and follow them carefully. Once you've changed the first one by following the instructions, res will feel easy. At first glance the whole process might seem complicated, but for me it's not - just follow the instructions. Please note that when you need to transfer the chip, the chip socket block of this product can be removed and reinserted.
