Functionality is great, you get all the Spin Clean components plus a record stand and an extra bottle of e-juice for half the price. I haven't had any issues with residue or film on the records after cleaning, but the dryer sheet has started dusting my records in recent batches, which is very counterproductive to the cleaning process, especially on my new discs. Records. While my 12" platters fit nicely between the brushes, I have to agree with another reviewer about the complete lack of pressure on 45" platters. It didn't fit too well between the brushes, and the very dirty 45 I had didn't change much after I ran it. I'm wondering how effective these brush sets are in general, and I'm considering replacing them with spin-clean brushes (they're almost $40 on their own). All in all, in my experience, this set alone will definitely provide a good surface cleaning of all your vinyl records and help reduce the crackling and crackling of inferior vinyl records. But he doesn't revive really bad records, fix jumps and clogged grooves, and he definitely doesn't clean 45s with real power, so don't expect miracles from him. The rest of the components are fine though, and buying and possibly replacing the brushes with a Spin-Clean costs about the same as a Spin-Clean base unit.

Pros
  • DUAL SPIN DESIGN: The microfiber brush is soft and dense, allowing you to effectively and thoroughly clean the records on both sides at the same time. Then just stack them on top of the dryer. Easy to use and set up, no electricity or installation required
Cons
  • Slightly torn
