Let me say I was a little hesitant to buy this fan clutch over the OEM fan clutch but decided to give it a try given the great savings. It was a stupid idea! This clutch started to clutch and then stops, starts clutching again and then stops etc etc for the first three minutes of towing the trailer and then nothing! The fan clutch has completely stopped turning on. He had no choice but to stop and let the engine idle to cool, unhitch the trailer and take another truck to complete the haul. After the truck cooled down overnight I decided to check the fan's resistance and let's just say it spins like a bird! no resistance at all. so it comes off and I'm going to replace it with a factory fan clutch!
