Poor quality strap broke after 6 months

I bought this strap in December 2020 to wear with the watch I gave my dad for Christmas. Just a few months later, the bracelet broke where the leather lug held the pin that connected it to the watch. Very disappointed with the quality of this item. Now I have to find a new group. Needless to say I will not be buying this again.
