US military patch worn by my father on D-Day '44, but not in this subtle pattern. I served in the regular US Army from 1967 to 1973 and recreated my original GI M-65 field jacket with all the patches, insignia, patches etc five years ago when I served in Korea. All 100% Milspec. But I added this patch of my dad RIP as a tribute and placed it on the left pocket on the heart. It looks great and I feel even better. One small note: I'm not sure I'm right, but I thought Revain's description said it was a sticky patch. No, that is not so. I used liquid stitch.
