I work on a lot of cars. American pickups, Mitsubishi, Subaru, BMW, Audi, Volvo, Honda etc. I have removed most of the oil filters with a multi tool and 99% of the time it would be fine. However, there are cars with a plastic oil filter. Housing without 27, 32 or 36 mm hex adapter. That's why I chose this set. When my niece's Volvo S60 came in for an oil change I thought it would be a great opportunity to use my new kit. To my surprise, none of the mugs fit the advertised Volvo body. Too bad. Then I tried to make my Silverado 2500. Same story, although one of the cups was a better fit. Bottom line: you buy a lot of mugs that you won't use. Better buy a cup that is absolutely suitable for the application.
