I only have two problems with these braces. The first is functional. Although my wrist size was in the middle of the range listed for the L/LX I purchased, the thumb hole was too small, forcing me to use a slightly less slack wrist strap setting to avoid painfully pinching my thumb . It's a little less stable, but still helps. Second, as other reviewers have reported, an area of the brace exposes the hook side of the hook and loop material, which can snag other forms of fabric by snagging on it. The ends of the straps have a small section of hook material that attaches to the loop material where it lands on the hanger. It won't snag. The problem is that adjacent to the landing zone is an approximately 3/4 inch wide strip of hook material that runs the full length of the brace and is designed to attach to the loop material on the underside of the straps. The straps only cover part of the hook material, and the exposed part is what things stick to. My solution was to cover the exposed hook material with black cloth tape (I had duct tape) and let the straps overlap the tape about 1/4" to hold it in place. No more eating. I don't know, how long the tape lasts, but it's cheap and easy to replace if it breaks.
