I bought this size 9-10 black dress for my 11 year old girl. According to the size chart my daughter will be 7-8 according to her waist, 9-10 according to her shoulder to butt and 11-12 according to her height. I chose size 9-10 and it fit her perfectly up to the knees. The fit is sheath style and the 3/4 sleeves are not tight. The lace was soft and the quality was much better than expected.
