A useful and easy-to-use tool for adding extra speakers to your home audio/video system

Because we love music in our family, we've always loved adding extra speakers right from the home. an audiovisual system for different rooms in our house. The expansion speakers create a very comfortable atmosphere, allowing us to move from room to room in our house and listen to our favorite music uninterrupted. As in our case, the additional speakers usually run at a lower volume to play background music. Serious listening takes place in our living room with our main speakers. The Pyle speaker switch block works well for adding additional speakers. It's easy to use, has easy-to-follow instructions, and safely sends the right "load" (or in layman's terms: power) to your speakers without overheating or stressing the amplifier in your A/V system. The selector switch is a box. Ideal for installation next to an audio/video system. Provided you know how to connect two stereo speakers (left and right) to your AV system, it's easy to connect those cables to the Pyle speaker switch terminals instead, and in the case of this Pyle select box, which can connect up to 8 additional speakers, wiring of up to 8 speakers. I have used Pyle's speaker select box to add additional speakers to my main listening room and other rooms. Please note that this is NOT a wireless system. You must run real speaker wire to each extension speaker. This can be especially problematic if you don't have easy access to an attic/basement or underground garage, as doing so will expose your speaker wires and potentially make them unsightly. I wholeheartedly recommend hiring an electrician or home theater professional if you need to run cables from your audio/video system behind walls, under floors, or above ceilings. This is not a disadvantage of the selection box. A properly connected secondary speaker is much more desirable than wireless as it is not subject to any interference or dropouts that can be associated with broadband internet problems, for example. You should also look to an easy-to-follow guide to the correct speaker cable. The entry holes on the selection box are large enough to accept only up to 14 gauge speaker wire. So you can use speaker wire numbers 14, 16, 18, 20, etc., but larger wire like 12 gauge or 10 gauge will not fit through the holes. 12 gauge may be required for long speaker wire. The front of the box is black. The buttons are easy to press and of course you can choose 1 pair of extra speakers, all or just some of them. The selection box does not require electricity. It harnesses the power of the amplifier in your home audio/video system. The switch box should last a very long time with proper care as it has no real moving parts other than the knobs and clips that hold the speaker wires in the holes. I have and use Pyle products, especially their speakers. The products have always been reliable at reasonable prices.
