Review on Eagle Lights Generation Headlight Sportster by Maurice Stavros

Disappointed with product. I have a 2006 Softail Deuce and I read from reviews that the light was plug and play. This was not the case. To name the issues, the fork on the lantern is too long for the fork on the bike. Approximately 1/4 inch of plug will be exposed when fully inserted into receptacle. The flashlight comes without a gasket and the standard gasket of the existing HD headlight has a completely different shape so it won't fit. about to install a new light. The gasket is necessary because the lamp can be moved when mounted in the lamp housing. It is very loose and will most likely cause the light to fail if left that way. Water will definitely get into the flashlight body if no gasket is used. Also on the back of the flashlight, the cast metal part doesn't quite match the body like the stock flashlight. I have used a spacer with a new light and corrected the movement of the light but given these issues I have some concerns that this light may fail in the future. As you know, turning off your lights at night while driving at 70 km/h on the Autobahn is not a safe situation. I don't drive much at night if at all but the light looks good after you fix everything. It's bright and significantly cheaper than affordable HD. I think the 180.00 or so I paid for it is way too much for this lamp. So either pay the price of HD and get one, or roll this one. I certainly wouldn't call it plug and play given the issues.
