Bought as a gift for a person who wants to learn how to wet shave with a straight razor. I was very impressed with the quality for the price. The skin is thick enough to last a long time. The screen side makes a stable impression. This suggests that the leather and canvas aren't as thick as those on my sling, but then again, it's not worth the $90+. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone considering shaving with a straight razor. And the 3" width eliminates the need for X-pattern slinging like with narrower lines. All in all a very good sling for the price and I see no reason why this sling couldn't last for years. As a side note I would on Refrain from using the gel/paste that came with the belt. Take a good chunk of chromium oxide (green material) and use it on the inner canvas after sharpening or for touch ups. Then use the outer canvas and then that Leather.
