Not as durable as it should be

I travel a lot and bought this backpack as a tool. It helps to organize my things well and is convenient to carry. However, I am seeing the first signs of product failure after only 8 months of use (not very long for a $200 backpack in my estimation). See photo where the top handle starts to detach from the bag. I wonder if Revain and Victorinox would be willing to help with premature wear of this product?
