I bought them for skiing (Northeast region). XL fits perfectly. Very warm and spacious. The cuff is long and closes the coat sleeve. Never sweat. I'm an advanced skier doing all black diamonds here in New York/Pennsylvania/Virginia. These mittens fit great and are warm, but when I got cold I noticed an open seam on the inseam. The cold was beginning to creep in. Too bad because I like them. I contacted the seller and he fixed the problem in less than a day. You can't beat them for $$. So buy two. It's still better than $90 for name brand gear. Hopefully it's just quality control.
