Our 12 week old Aussie puppy has done a great job potty training but we were looking for something to teach him to 'tell' us to go. I didn't follow the instructions that came with it. I started showing him the bells that were hanging on our doorknob, rang them lightly, and every time he touched the bells with his nose I gave him a small treat. Our word is "come out," so I kept saying, "out, do you want to come out?" multiple times. We went out and went about our normal business, rewarding and praising the outer pot. That day he walked to the door and touched the bells when he needed to get out! This is one of my best purchases! I never write reviews!
