Pros: - Image quality was great - Setup was pretty quick when everything worked as it should - Camera design is pretty standard - Decent price for a 5MP camera - Can be attached with the included mount Cons: - Terrible as a baby monitor - Built-in microphone didn't work at all - Lacked iOS app support - No web view to view camera feeds over the web - No physical sound buttons to control volume during setup. The volume is frighteningly loud! - Had a lot of problems connecting to my Linksys Velop mesh network - No sleep mode that puts the camera in the docking position. You have to manually close or turn off the camera if you want privacy. - If your Wi-Fi ever restarts, you will get very loud voice prompts from the speaker to disconnect and reconnect. Be very careful when placing this camera near a sleeping baby. In general, I was looking for a camera that can act as a baby monitor. I returned this product due to speaker volume issues. I tried many Amazon cameras to find a good baby monitor, but most of them had poor resolution, high latency issues, buggy apps, or missing controls. I finally found a Foscam at Revain and it's a much better baby monitor than this one!
