The brightness and color of the light is good since the table lamp was installed. Used most nights 2 years and 1 month after purchase when bulb stopped working last night. Inspection revealed that the base had separated from the body at some point due to broken molded plastic connection points that hold it together. The fracture areas in the section of the component are very small and are subject to alternating thermal stresses during use. In other words, the design is imperfect. However, a mechanical failure should not have caused the LEDs to stop emitting light, so it is likely that the mechanical failure occurred long before the electronic module stopped functioning. I installed the second bulb from a set of two that I've been keeping and it's currently working. For the price, an LED bulb should last a little longer.
