You get the quality you pay for

I guess I shouldn't have had too high of hopes for something in this pricerange that was wireless AND noise canceling. I have sensory processing disorder, so noise cancelation is very important to me. I bought these at the recommendation of an autistic friend, but unfortunately they have too many design flaws for me to tolerate using them over my basic wired headhpones. What I liked: The color/design, very comfortable and lightweight, controls easy to use, and they do cancel some noise. What made me return them: The VERY loud voice that plays in your ear whenever you pair bluetooth or toggle noise canceling. It interrupts whatever audio you're listening to, and it's played at a few noches louder in volume so that if you already have your music at a decently high volume it's deafening/disruptive. Made me jump out of my seat the first time I used them, and then I had to take them off particially to tolerate toggling those controls again. The beeping when you change the volume is also similarly loud, but more tolerable because it's only for a moment. There seems to be no way to adjust this feature. It would be great if it were able to be turned off, as once you get used to the controls it's really not needed.Noise canceling isn't anywhere near what you get with Bose or other high-end brands. There's a constant whirring/buzzing in the background that is hard to tune out. When I tested them in a silent room, I actually had to turn the volume up *higher* in order to hear the same music once noise canceling was turned on, to make up for the new background noise it creates. This seems counterintuitive.Sound quality is also just generally poor, but I guess that's most affordable wireless headhpones. Not sure about the battery life. Didn't use them long enough to drain it.

Pros
  • H - The over-ear design provides natural noise cancellation
Cons
  • The noise cancelling feature may create an uncomfortable pressure sensation
