I think this is an expensive product so I have tried many times to find an alternative. I come back to Clinique every time. It does not sting the eyes and effectively removes stubborn residue from mascara and eyeliner. But once (more than a couple of years have passed) the product was thicker. (It was also in a slightly different tube, or maybe it was the color of the product itself.) I liked the original even more. In fact, I didn't look into it until Clinique changed the recipe. But then again, I haven't found any other product that I like more. I guess I'll just stick with it this time.
