I just received this two days ago. I have very thick hair. Not that each strand is thick but I have LOTS of hair. I have wrapped a towel around my head for over 60 years. It drives me crazy when I am doing the dishes or straightening up the house and the towel falls off. I spent a long time looking for the best turban. This was wider and longer than the others. I looked like a "mini" towel. Well I just washed my hair. I wrapped the towel around my head but twisted the end a bit to slip it into the elastic on the bottom. I shook my head and the towel stayed. I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and even helped my husband hang a door. I was bent over and it stayed in place. I have had it on for 30 minutes. Taking off the towel was a surprise to me. My hair was dryer than using a thick bath towel left on for an hour. No it did not dry my hair. It probably is half way there but that is all I need so I can finish air drying. It really soaked up the water.
