The cartridge is recognized as an HP cartridge by the HPCP2025 printer. I bought HP branded cartridges and with my discount at OfficeMax/OfficeDepot they were still double the price. As suggested by other reviews, I bought two sets in case there were any issues. So far the print quality is excellent and I don't see the light coloring that others see. The color density is normal for my eyes. I recommend them so you can save money too. As with any aftermarket cartridge, it is advisable to have a spare cartridge on hand if you have a cartridge problem.
