Very impressed with the product. Went to YouTube and watched a few videos before trying it. My only suggestion is that if you are not a patient person, do not attempt this. Use your hair dryer to thoroughly, and I repeat thoroughly, heat small portions at a time down the side of your iPad. If you try to lift it, things get a lot easier. Don't worry about heat damage. Don't worry and be patient. It took me an hour to remove the screen and then another 30 minutes to separate the small pieces I cracked. off the screen because I was impatient and tried to pull it out too quickly. Patience is the key to this. patience and warmth. Once the screen is off and clean, everything else goes by so quickly. Just be patient and follow the instructions. I watched several videos on YouTube. I recommend you do the same and choose the person who matters most to you. It was quite embarrassing that I only had to spend $65 to replace the digitizer (the top of the glass on your iPad is called the digitizer, in case you didn't already know. This information will come in handy later). I've reviewed it with an Apple and an Apple service company in my area, and both cost around $200-$250. Now understand that this is the price of the job, because removing the top can take a heck of a lot of time. It's worth it, however, if your patient.
