These socks are worn over the arch of the foot for extra support and compression while running. sneakers where my ankle is. They are not displayed 100%. I'm a size small (I wear a US women's size 9) but my niece who wears a size 3Y can wear these socks too. Socks don't make my feet sweat or freeze. they wear. I washed and dried these socks then put them on and they still fit my 9ft size and I don't feel like they will slip off. I like her. They have just enough padding in the heel so my feet don't hurt as I stand, walk, and do chores in my socks all day.
