This remote was good value and worked with our Samsung Q60R. But it took me more than 15 minutes to open the battery compartment. It's constructed the same as the OEM unit, or so it seems. You have to move the entire back of the case about half an inch and then it can be removed, but I couldn't move it. It is fully jammed or stuck in the closed position. I had to slowly bend the whole block back and forth and after a while it finally opened up. But then, after putting the batteries in, it wouldn't stay closed anymore. I inspected it and found I hadn't broken any of the plastic tabs inside the block so why it's sticking like that and why it's not holding now is a mystery. A little tape solved the problem. Compared to $50+ for an OEM unit, I'll settle for cheap quality.
