Review on MICHELIN X-Ice North 4 SUV 265/55 R20 113T winter by Dagmara Ziomek ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but the product was pleasantly surprised.

Since the season has more or less come to an end, we might as well start the recap. The majority of the workouts took place in urban areas and on highways, and due to the peculiar weather conditions, the majority of the runs were done on asphalt, regardless of whether it was frozen or wet. I need spikes since there is an ice track that begins just after the exit from the freeway. I was concerned about how well this spike would perform on bare pavement, but it still performs quite well in that environment. By the way, it is not affected in any way by the ruts in the asphalt. When I was passing another truck that had a left-side drive into the deep snow at the divider, I seemed to be slightly lead as I was driving through the blizzard on the highway. It was literally the only time I've ever been in a blizzard. However, the ESP was silent, and everything worked out without a hitch. Hong Konganent full or rubber?)) After that, there was also the appearance of uniform snow porridge, and I did not observe any concerns. Only by purposefully applying a quick brake in conditions of deep snow that had just fallen was it feasible to activate the anti-lock braking system (ABS). The winter that is currently occurring close to Hong Kong did not provide any further possibilities to test tires in a more comprehensive manner. Regarding the sound, I can't say that I hear a buzzing from them at all. At low speeds, a clatter on the pavement is scarcely audible; when the pace further climbs to one hundred or more, there is no distinctive rumbling felt, while the music does not pound on me. What caught me off guard was that it was almost the end of March, but the rubber antennas did not appear to have worn off at all; it looked as if I had just bought a new pair of shoes. At the very least, make it look brand new. I am going to keep my fingers crossed that this is a sign that the mixture has a very sturdy composition)) To put it another way, the tires have had very little use up to this point, so we'll have to wait and see how they perform during the winter. To claim that, well, these are just the best wheels, would you? - so that we can skate them side by side with the Hakka and the Continental. Because of this, I can only give it four stars (until the manufacturer provides such a feature). But one cannot deny their happiness.

Pros
  • I took it on the 19th of December, and I'm currently experiencing a collision with the Grand Vitara. Produced in Poland for the past 19 years. The city is covered in asphalt as there is no snow at this time. Surprisingly, even at speeds of up to 80 (I haven't tried going any faster yet), I don't notice any noise coming from the wheels. Neither do I engage in evasive manoeuvres, which is why there are no concerns regarding the vehicle's handling while I'm driving in the city. I don't perceive any significant differences between this and summer. When it starts to snow, that's when I head out to the racetrack. We'll take a more in-depth look at that later))
