TV remote control problem

I'm having trouble getting it to work. Followed all instructions but to no avail. Can't work with my old remote as it doesn't work at all. I'll see if I can find someone to look at this. Pretty difficult with blocking due to virus. My TV works fine by hand. I just can't connect it to the international remote control. My old remote control that used to record the camera with the TV just broke. If I can get your remote to work I would be very happy.
