Do not wash or dry unless you are a child.

Do not dry even on low heat. He shrank so much that he looked like a little lady. My husband didn't even have time to put it on. In general, the style looks beautiful. It itches and is apparently a shrinking nightmare. We bought this for family photos and it would be great so if you do the same... just don't wash and dry it because you expect to toss it in the bin afterwards.
