My 110 lb dog LOVES this ottoman. It's very strong, I don't know the weight limit. Very easy to assemble, less than 5 minutes. I needed a sofa extender for extra comfort and wasn't ready to buy a new sofa with a chaise longue extender. This is great because I can move it to the center or to either side. We have a second puppy who is also almost 30 pounds, so it's going to be tight for all of us on the couch. It was absolutely perfect. And it's really beautiful! I have a dark gray stool 30x30x15. It slides a bit, but once you put some weight on it, it's pretty stable. Also, I'm pretty sure if I fill it up with crap I should probably get rid of it and it gets a bit heavier.
