Contrary to the description, this belt is not real leather. It's leather and smells very strongly of plastic. They even packaged it in charcoal bags instead of the traditional desiccant bags to try to mask the nasty plastic smell. You can even see the artificial layers in the belt holes. The outer edges of the belt are heavily colored to hide this, but this is difficult to hide in the belt holes. but it is not as durable as a genuine leather work belt and will fall apart.
