Good protection from spark showers.
Anyone who has ever used a cutting torch, or welded under a car, knows how many sparks shower down onto your body, and especially your upper body. I recently started wearing a leather apron and this leather coat works perfectly along with the apron. I can't even count how many scars I've gotten on my arms over the years from not wearing leather protection, but I wish I would have had a leather coat many years ago. This coat is very easy to take on and off and although it feels heavy, it doesn't seem to weigh me down and I can comfortably work with my arms elevated.
