Why did I waste my money? Nothing works as it should

I bought this 7 inch digital instrument cluster about 3 months ago, I paid extra money for I/O ports and GPS. Basically I wanted to connect three things to the I/O ports, one was the oil pressure, the second was the fuel level and the third was the turn signals. I have a GPS to track speed and miles. Here's the problem - I paid ($150) for an expensive oil sensor and plugged it into the dash with the I/O ports. Every time I try to start the truck it reads -11 psi. I called Holly EIGHT times about this issue and they told me eight different things, none of which worked. it all came back for them to test, finally got it all back seven weeks later only to see it was still done -11psi. The pressure switch - and the offline unit works great - reads 40psi at idle. ue 2nd edition is the fuel gauge is a 2001 Chevy S10 truck and the fuel gauge is 40-250 ohms. The digital stroke was preset for this measurement, but I only fill in about 50-60% on the stroke each time. I went in and kept changing the settings. I tried making it 0-90 and it just read HI-Ad instead of actually reading. I've tried setting it to 40-200 ohms and it still doesn't read properly. So I bought another offline fuel gauge and it works great again. fast truck can go. Well, only the speedometer works, but the odometer doesn't. I googled to see if this is a common problem and it is. No one can figure out how to get the odometer working properly. The fourth problem I've encountered is the waiting time when I call Holly. On average, I spend one call an hour just to speak to a tech advisor who doesn't help me at all. They couldn't fix the oil level, fuel, or odometer issue. So why the hell did I LOST $800 on a dashboard that doesn't work? I should have just bought three or four stand alone meters and spent half the price!

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradable
