I have several different laptop/tablet cases but they all look more durable than I would like. I needed something more elegant when I started internship and work. I need to take my laptop with me everywhere and many of these places will be establishments that require formal attire. A sturdy looking bag looks out of place and I don't have free hands to carry my briefcase and side bags are harder to maneuver around large groups of people. This faux leather case comes in a large Ziploc style bag. It had an odor at first but I let it air out for a few days and the odor wasn't that noticeable. A week later he was gone. This process can be sped up with charcoal odor removal bags or one of those non-spilling refrigerator baking soda containers. Leather is smooth leather with a leathery structure. All hardware is gold, but the zippers are the same faux leather. On the outside there is a pocket that can be enlarged by opening the side zippers. The lining protects everything from falling out. There is a short zip pocket on the back. The straps are adjustable and there is a top handle. There is a buckle closure at the front and a pair of tassels hanging from the hardware at the front of the bag. Inside the bag is a large back pocket with a padded front to prevent your electronic device from bumping into other things in the bag. There is an elastic strap that attaches with Velcro that keeps it closed. A shorter pocket is attached to the soft part. There is a small zip pocket on the front which has a brown zip to match the lining. There is also another pocket that is divided into two and has an imitation leather trim. All bags have a brown soft lining. I am very happy with this bag. It barely fits my laptop, but it fits. Because I like the style I used before the internship. I like the style of the backpack which allows weight to be placed on just one shoulder although it's my fault one has to be hanging but I also like that it looks more professional than a traditional backpack and even more professional than my other bags for laptops.
