Review on Xiaomi Watch S1 Active Wi-Fi NFC Global Smart Watch, Blue Ocean by Funahashi Riko ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing special, there are positives and negatives.

They are positioned as a watch for sports, in fact, they are more like a fitness bracelet, to which they screwed GPS, they didn’t stand close to normal watches, see below (by normal watches for sports, I mean harmines, fires, etc., but the price tag is different there ). Unlike normal watches, everything is done through a single button and touch screen. As a result, when starting a workout, you have to wait 3 seconds after pressing and before actually starting. Suitable for regular training, but not for real starts, when you need to accurately cut off time. When you stop (at a traffic light, etc.), he immediately offers to stop training and requires you to take action to continue it, which is also a minus. With normal walking, after 5 minutes, he suddenly realizes that you are moving and offers to start training, while from somewhere in the ceiling he takes information about the distance already traveled (which is not true). In total, it’s suitable as a not-so-good temporary replacement for a normal sports watch if you’re sat down. Autonomy, although not the worst, but you can’t call it good either: 2 days without playing sports for 14 hours a day (turned off for the rest of the time) ate 23% of the charge, i. E. 12 days of standard activity and 24 days of economy mode declared by the manufacturer do not smell here.

Pros
  • Price (compared to "analogues"). Good GPS. Relatively good autonomy.
Cons
  • Price (compared to real analogues, see comments). Inconvenient setup (some are configured in the watch itself, some through the application, some are both there and there). Lack of normal watch dials (only "fashionable, youthful"). Inconvenient management in terms of sports. Many "smart" functions interfere with life.
