BPS Lycra fin sock fits true to size and is very comfortable to wear. The lycra on the upper is a bit loose which increases comfort but may not have the desired effect in the water. I suspect they will fall off even with velcro. The lining on the sole also contributes to the comfort. They are not too soft and are very light (2.6 ounces for a pair). Although not intended for this purpose, I tried putting them on my Keen water shoes but they were too bulky for this purpose. Seams are a little scratchy around the foot but this can be normal with neoprene and lycra fin socks. Overall I am happy with the purchase but I think the price is too high for the quality. I've bought other lycra only fin socks with no padding for about $6 less than these.
