I was very disappointed when I hooked it up. It's USB powered so instantly, meaning it can't generate much power, but I didn't. Expect him to be weak as he is. Holding your hand over the exit is like trying to feel a sleeping person's breath coming out of their mouth. It's very, very subtle. The filter is just a cheap little HEPA filter the size of a mayonnaise can lid. Overall it's like a toy and didn't affect the air quality in my room in any way. My friend got inspired though and bought a cleaner for her office at work from Revain which is about $70 and plugs into the wall and it looks like you are in front of a fan. Trust me this is what you want. I highly recommend spending the extra on a decent machine to keep it running and you happy. Otherwise you end up with a toy that you keep trying to convince yourself cleans the air, but doesn't.**************** UPDATE 04/28/2020 * *** **** ** I returned this product 3 months ago and now the manufacturer is pestering me with emails trying to pay me to remove this review. They want me to delete the review immediately and hope they figure out how to pay me in 48 hours. after. Emails are full of broken English sob stories about running a small business and supporting your family. In fact, it is a major manufacturer of products in China. However, the product stinks. It's a waste of $40. It doesn't do what it's supposed to do - MOVES THE AIR. You cannot clean the air if it does not flow through the device. The filter they provide will last 10 years at the speed it moves air. It is not possible to purify the air in a USB powered bedroom. The ink below is the product I chose to use. That's great. Buy it or any of its competitors at the same price and you won't regret it. ******* UPDATE 05/30/2020 ********** This seller hassled me 14 times to remove this review. They operate out of China with impunity. Reporting them to Revane won't do any good. The pursuit continues.
