I tried this coat on in the dark as there are hardly any reviews or sizing charts but I'm so glad I did! carry my weight in my stomach (170 pounds) and women's haircuts can be a problem for me. I ordered a large and it fits perfectly as there is enough room underneath for a hoodie or sweater. The length covers my butt and hits the top of my thigh. I don't feel that movement is restricted at this length. The hood is very roomy which is perfect for me when I have loose hair or wear a hat. I liked the cuffs on the inside of the wrists that keep air from rising in the hands. The coat is lined / quilted along the entire length of the sleeves! All in all a great coat that will keep me warm during those crazy Kansas winters!
