I bought the One Tigris badge holder which uses 550 paracord for the neck strap but ended up with an ugly knot with a lace clasp that was sticking out from behind my shirt. I found these pop kegs to work great in terms of both security (disconnects if the cord snags) and aesthetics (flows into/flows with my collared shirts). I was having a hard time figuring out how to "tie" the ends of a 550 paracord until I found a YouTube video where one person told me to melt the ends (like I usually do) but the ends stamp to mushroom the ends. This fungus allows the paracord to stay in the pop barrels. It also allows you to detach in an emergency but is strong enough to stay in place. Too bad I didn't discover this harness/ID and barrel setup 15 years ago.
