Review on 🔑 Mercedes Benz W203 W210 W211 AMG W204 C E S CLS CLK Keyless Remote Fob Key Shell Case Replacement - No Chip IYZ3312 by Ben Alvarez

My original key fob broke and I wanted to replace it with this case. The original key fob's circuit board fit this one perfectly, but the battery part just wouldn't slide all the way (exactly as shown in the picture posted here by another reviewer). So I tried to be smart and use the battery. Part of the original key fob with this shell with the circuit board still in place. It worked! But then I discovered that the buttons on the keychain body don't touch the buttons on the circuit board inside! The light didn't come on when pressed and of course didn't unlock or lock the car. I've been trying to figure out why, I've used a multimeter and verified that the battery contacts are indeed delivering the correct voltage. I've concluded that these are the buttons on this key fob - they don't touch. I give up. This bowl is just poorly made. Mould/machining by a fraction of an inch. A real shame so I'm stuck with an old broken key.
