A great way to improve your flash photos
If you want your built-in flash to look a little more professional then this is a great way to do it. This softens and diffuses the light a bit and helps avoid the washed-out, flat results that can sometimes occur with on-camera flashes. You can even try to mimic a regular softbox with it, and I've tried. Having said that, I have to say that again, don't expect to completely replace the softbox. This works in a pinch, but if you really want studio-quality results straight from the camera, use a softbox.
