I've waited a long time after purchase to write this review, but I'm glad I did. After only 6 months of use of this (quite expensive) nappy bin (it's used heavily for all 2 child nappies) we'll be lucky if it works for much longer. Within a month of receiving and using it, our not quite 2 year old had already managed to break the spring on the outer cover that allows access to the well, eliminating the odor more effectively than this part. The inner door doesn't work as well as I had hoped as we have to shake it (while holding the baby in one hand) to slide the diaper through the opening if it's not positioned correctly. Inside, a clip holding a metal bracket to hold a garbage bag also recently broke. I was willing to pay more for a diaper pail that controls the inevitable "stink" (especially since we've had very smelly diaper decor in the past) and also holds more than most on the market (and also uses standard garbage bags). we will use it for 2 children; Overall, however, I am disappointed with how poorly this product has held up. UPDATE: After I wrote my first review, I was contacted by Bubula customer service and they offered to replace the entire cap! While this didn't completely fix the problems (the plastic clip holding the garbage bag's metal frame is still broken), it helps to have an outer manhole cover and a new sliding door, both of which are essential for "stench control". . I was VERY impressed with the company's customer service and diligent follow up to ensure my replacement was received promptly which is why I upgraded this product to 4 stars. Good product, hope the durability is better with spare parts!
