The size is based on the circumference of the thigh, so measure accurately. I wasn't expecting much before opening the package. However, I was pleasantly surprised! As other reviewers have said, the leather is thin, so don't expect it to be on par with a pair of $199 guys. I would say they are similar to what I've seen for $99. Acceptable quality YYK zippers, buttons and other accessories. FYI, lined pants do not mean the lining covers the full length. The bottom 8 inches or so is unlined, which isn't necessary since that portion will cover your boots. I apply leather conditioner immediately and will continue until the cracks soften a bit. They're a bit stiff. There is also a single line, but it seems to be of good quality. One area that worries me a bit is the edges and waistband. As the skin is thin I would say these areas will likely show wear soon. These pants are ideal for warm weather because they are thin. For only $57, you can't go wrong - order a Prime subscription and don't worry. If they don't fit or you don't like them, just send them back.
