Review on USA-Made Zipper Rescue Repair Kits – The Original Zipper Repair Kit Since 1993 (Moto) by John Bailey

I accidentally bought a cheaper zipper repair kit somewhere else. I could have wasted my dollars on what I got from this cheap plastic kit. The zipper opened easily and popped out of the zipper teeth with one simple movement. It's not worth it. However, THIS set has metal rods, metal stops and overall quality parts. I managed to put a new zipper in a great jacket and saved the jacket. The jacket was in perfect condition except for the zipper. This kit will pay for itself - in fact, it has already paid for itself. There's a reason it's called "Zipper Repair Kit, Moto" as it has a pull type that suits zippers for heavier fabrics and zippers. Zippers come in a variety of sizes and colors, although most are dark or black. The kit also includes zipper stoppers (on both sides), although I usually find I have a broken zipper or zipper teeth before the stopper comes loose. It's a nice addition to this Lightning Fix Pack, though. It says you can use needle-nosed pliers to open or close the zipper. I did not have to; I just put a new zipper on the prongs and that's it. The instructions don't say much, but if you can figure out how to attach the zipper to the zipper teeth, you're in great shape. repair complete.
