MP3 and MP4 players can't go wrong

Let me tell you up front, I'm not tech savvy at all. The Sandisk Clip Jam was the first such device I owned and I had some doubts about overcoming the expected learning curve. It was a surprise gift for my sweetheart who is even more anti-tech than me. This thing comes with a small print piece of paper that I believe was an instruction manual, but the type is too small for my aged eyes. I expected the worst. However, to my surprise, within minutes I figured out how to operate the device and happily filled it with my sweetheart's favorite music. The device clips to her shirt when she does her morning workout on the treadmill, and it's so small and light she doesn't even notice it's on. I have no idea how many songs it contains, but I've already uploaded over 200. The controls are difficult to read, but intuitive even for an older man. The sound is great, with a volume control that plays music loud enough to keep any teenager happy. It has a built in radio which I didn't expect to work well in our remote area but I was amazed that not only did it pick up all the stations available it actually did better than my car radio. Now I'm going to buy one. And as a bonus, it's inexpensive. I don't think you can go wrong with buying your own Clip Jam, even if you're a technophobe like me.

Pros
  • Ultra-light portable personal music player
Cons
  • I don't remember
