First impression after using Rabbit Air, Bissell, Honeywell

In my experience, Korean-made air purifiers are among the best. Developed by a Korean company, this Winix air purifier, like my Rabbit Air, is very quiet when running on low. You can't even hear it if you put your ear to the device, it's so quiet! This is ideal for bedrooms where you need an air purifier next to your bed. The main particulate filter is large, but the charcoal filter is just a thin sheet. My Rabbit Air and Bissell models have significantly thicker activated carbon filter stages. When it's in auto mode, it uses the ambient light sensor to automatically switch to sleep mode when the room is dark. The fan is set to low speed which makes it very quiet and the LED lights are dimmed to avoid illuminating the bedroom. This is a very nice feature. The air quality sensor works great. The LED changed from blue to red when I was cleaning the computer monitor in the same room. The sensor detected aerosol particles from a small amount of cleaning spray and the fan turned on for a few minutes. The reason I'm giving this 3 stars is because there are several bugs in the app that affect the ability to automate the air purifier. For example, I programmed the air purifier to change the fan speed at certain times of the day. But instead of changing mode, the air purifier always turns off! After I cleared the schedules it wouldn't turn off anymore. There are other bugs with the Alexa integration in the Winix app (the dropdown in the app shows the room names instead of typing in the skill name). I have many Alexa home automation devices but this is the only one that I haven't been able to work with Alexa. Hopefully the app will be improved in future versions.
