For the money I can live with the fact that it's not a real Mac keyboard; it feels a bit inferior but costs half the price. It's a lot thinner than many other keyboards, and the added weight of the aluminum backplate makes the Mack feel more solid than many. It's thicker than a Mac keyboard, but not by much. The key feel doesn't feel as smooth as a real Mac keyboard, but I don't think that's because of the cheap manufacturing. If you're looking for a decent keyboard at a lower price, this is the one for you. *** To update. The feel of the keys when typing is a bit problematic. These buttons must be fully depressed to function. ALL buttons. This isn't a problem for most keys, but the 'a' key seems problematic to me - I can't type fast, I have to concentrate every time I press 'a' to make sure it lasts my press. . The numeric keys can also sometimes cause problems. If you don't type a lot or work slowly, this probably isn't a problem, but I work on a computer and can type at high speeds, which definitely slows me down. So I lowered my rating from 4 to 3 stars.
