Husband rated it as "easy to assemble". It has a solid base and a sure footing that I feel secure with both hands on the table. I adjusted it to 32" for my 42" desk. I also ordered a keyboard tray for the table. I switched from a regular bar table to this bar table for intermittent standing. The seat cushion offers the right combination of firmness and just enough strength to cushion your butt. But I bought an extra pillow from Cushion Lab anyway. I was pleased with how the base color matched the metal legs of the table and how the leather cushion matched our leather department.
