My old shower stall was rusted underneath because water could collect in the lower bumper so the counter was almost always wet. When it collapsed and all the bottles and whistles were scattered, the entire interior of the mast was covered in rust. This ALLZONE car has a much larger lower and upper bumper. The weight of the bar itself is heavier than my old one. It's more durable in the corner and there are drain holes in the bumper. That alone is reason enough to buy this product. No standing water = no rust! Installation was easy. After you've added shelves to the shelf, it's important to press the shelf against the black insert during installation to secure the shelf to the shelf so it doesn't slide off when you are determining how far apart you want the shelves to be. I have many shampoos and shower gels for every taste. The stem doesn't wobble, the plastic height-sensing knob is easy to tighten, and the instructions for determining stem height are simple. You don't need any special tools for assembly, but you will need a sturdy tape measure to determine how many post sections you need based on the height of the mounting location. You will also need to measure the post before placing it in its final location to add 1.77 to 2 inches of height for the spring load holding the shelf in place. The spacing between the shelves is up to you and there is a rod to hang a washcloth or whatever you want to hang. This is a pole but it has two sides as shown in the picture. Two spots on the front have razor hooks and one shelf has two spots to hold shampoo bottles upside down to allow the shampoo to drain when the bottle is empty. I looked at almost all the Revain bars and decided to give this one a try. I am very happy with my choice. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. I highly recommend this rod. You will not be disappointed!
