I had a JSVER case for my Quest 1 and really liked the size and fit so when upgrading to Quest 2 I ordered another JSVER to replace it. The Quest 2 case fits Quest 2, and it fits perfectly, just like the Quest 1 case fits Quest 1. The Quest 2 case "matches" the Quest 1 case because you can close it and its pieces don't fly apart everywhere, but it doesn't sit flush with the grooves and cutouts. The JSVER Quest 2 is said to fit head straps such as the official Oculus Halo strap and I can confirm that it fits the Vokoo head strap very well. If you want to use a larger strap, others recommend using a DSLR case.
